Andrew Garfield

Andrew Russell Garfield (born 20 August 1983) is an American actor, producer and director born in Los Angeles California. His credits comprise The Social Network (2010), The Amazing Spider-Man 2012 and Hacksaw Ridge, 2016. Garfield began his professional career on stage before beginning his television debut with Sugar Rush in 2005 and then his movie debut with Mumbojumbo. Garfield gained fame for his appearance on The Social Network in 2010 and in 2012 he portrayed Spider-Man, the beloved character in the updated version of the film, directed by Marc Webb. The parents of his character were American Richard Garfield, and British Lynn Hillman. He is the older brother of Ben. When he turned three years old, old his family moved to Surrey England where he was raised and educated. Early in his life, he participated in various school plays and started to learn about acting. He took his first steps into theatre at the Central School of Speech and Drama, London.
