Arike Ogunbowale

Arike Ogunbowale (born 2nd April 1985) is an American professional player of the basket ball. She is part of the Dallas Wings and the Women's National Basketball Association. She was a player for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the college level before being selected as the 5th overall pick by the Wings in the 2019 WNBA draft. Arike Ogunbowale was born on March 2nd, 1997 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Parents Yolanda Gregory Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale (26 years) and Dare Ogunbowale (19 years) are her brothers older than her. As the youngest sister, she received the most attention from her parents. Gregory Ogunbowale's father worked as a soldier in the Nigerian Army. Ogunbowale grew within a family that was busy. Her mother Yolanda and her brother Dare each played softball attending DePaul. Aunty played volleyball at UAPB. Also, her cousin Endia is also a volleyball player on the field at Tennessee State. Ogunbowale was on the list of honors at her high school three times in a row. Alongside her fame, she has received various awards from her education. Arike graduated from Divine Savior Holy Angels High School which is located within her own hometown. Her academics were followed by three years playing varsity. Ogunbowale's extraordinary capabilities and skills, helped lead her school to stunning victory several times. The high school season she played in was compiled with 73 starts, 1,477 career points, and 739 career rebounds. Ogunbowale won gold medals during the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championship, 2014. FIBA U17 World Championship, and the 2013 FIBA 3x3 U18 Championship. In July of 2014 she was picked to be a member of the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale is also a member of the ACC All-Freshman Team, after her first season in a college. Kobe Bryant congratulated her after shooting a number of big shots in the NCCA Tournament. Ogunbowale might be new to basketball but she has already established herself. Arike Ogunbowale could be worth $5 million according to an unnamed source. While she is a professional basketball player, Ogunbowale excels in various other sports as well. She also plays soccer and has even won State Cups for the Lake County United Soccer Club. She has also played the piano for over seven years.
