Angela Yee was born in America. She is the current host of the nationally syndicated program Way Up. She was co-host of the nationally syndicated breakfast program The Breakfast Club with Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy. Yee is a part-time member of the American Foundation for the University of the West Indies. Dress for Success, a non-profit organization she became part of in 2013.
